Cadeler will be certified in accordance with the “ISO 45001 standard for occupational health and safety” during the course of 2021.
This builds upon the certified IMO ISM Ship Safety Management system, which has been implemented since Cadeler's vessels started operating in 2012.
Cadeler is certified according to the International Maritime Organisation regulations and conventions.
Cadeler is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, as well as ISM and ISPS certified according to IMO and flag state requirements. Cadeler is both Achilles and Sellihca qualified and FPAL registered, ensuring suitability for clients. The company Quality System gives guidelines, procedures and instructions for all functions connected to the operation and management of our vessels. The system is verified periodically by Class, Flag State Authorities, Customers, OCIMF and other recognised organisations.

The first step to promote Health, Safety and Accident prevention on board our vessels is a strong and unwavering commitment from senior management, both onshore and offshore, to HSE, and clear leadership in this area. Cadeler has detailed policies that demonstrate this commitment and which are introduced to all new employees upon joining the company, as well as being regularly discussed in training.
